Game-based learning is a great way to keep learners motivated and invested in the content. Research has concluded that the game-based learning market is growing and is expected to hit 7.3 billion by the year 2021. One study done by the UC-Denver Business School found that participants who learned in the form of playing games ended up with an increase of 14% in skill-based knowledge, an increase of 11% in factual knowledge, and an increase of 9% in retention rates when compared to those who were presented material through other methods.
