Gamification is the art of using game mechanics and principles in non-gaming contexts in order to teach a specific topic or skill. The market, which was $3.2 billion in 2017, is expected to reach $11.10 Billion by 2020, at a CAGR of 46.3%. Organizations are embracing gamification and including it in their training budget as they are seeing huge benefits. Gamification is not a new thing, though. It has been around for decades and has evolved with both time and technology.
